The Dusty Trail Called Life

It’s a great new day
And I’m on my way
I’ve put on my walking shoes,
Got rid of my low down blues,
I’m ready to hit the dusty trail,
Face every challenge I meet,
I have the sword of the Spirit,
And wings upon my feet

I’m walking down the dusty trail called life,
Just making tracks,
Not looking back,
Yesterday is gone, and tomorrow’s out of sight,
But I’m okay,
I have today

I have today,
To lend a helping hand,
To a lonely widow lady,
Or a troubled homeless man,

To mention Jesus’ name,
And change a life forever,
